Mike Neary (Managing Director) of METT Training Ltd presented Tim Cook of Cassiobury parkrun with an automated external defibrillator (AED), on 14th January 2017. His company also provided Qualsafe accredited training in basic life support & safe use of an AED to twelve of the parkrun volunteers.

Mike said, “the chance of survival falls by 7-10% with every minute that defibrillation is delayed for a victim of sudden cardiac arrest so an AED really is a vital piece of equipment. We’re excited to support Cassiobury parkrun in providing a safe environment as they play an important role in opening up exercise to the whole community.”
