The New Manager, The New Leader 

This course is designed to make new managers aware of their leadership responsibilities. It is a 2 day programme which will allow delegates to look at the following concepts: leadership v management; problem solving; decision making; team building and motivation; presentation skills and the development of teams for which they are responsible. 

The delivery of the course is interactive, friendly and challenging, delivering new and standard concepts of management thinking. It gives you the delegate the tools to cope with a challenging and demanding role. 

My personal view on management and leadership: 
My view on leadership is that leaders share a vision amongst those they lead.
They model the way; they create inspiration and set achievable targets,
which can be met in realistic time frames. They develop those who they lead,
professionally and emotionally, empowering them, giving them the tools to
achieve and succeed in all they do. 

They nurture and develop new skills, they enhance performance and productivity,
they problem solve and have the ability to communicate at all levels, they are
clear and concise when presenting information. 
They have the ability to develop an honest relationship and manage sensitive
situations, looking for the best outcome for the team, the individual and the
overall needs of the organisation.
